Red Sorrel has pointed and bright lime-green leaves with dark red veins running throughout. The herb, with it’s distinctive sour lemony flavor, can be cooked like a vegetable. It is a detoxifying herb and acts as a diuretic than can be juiced or made into tea. It is often partnered with fish, veal, eggs, and potatoes in soup or gratin.
Store dry in an airtight container in fridge for 3-4 days.
